Dreams (1990)

Director:  Akira Kurosawa
Writer:     Akira Kurosawa
Language:Japanese
Dreams is a visualization of several dreams that Kurosawa had during his lifetime. It serves as a critique to modern way of living which plunders the nature for its resources without any concern to other species and our future generations. Its very good visually and Martin Scorsese does a good cameo role. The second half of the film is better than the first half.Interestingly there is a dream in which there is a nuclear plant explosion because of a natural disaster similar to Fukushima one.

Rating: 3.5/5
