District 9's director Neill Blomkamp is coming with Elysium which again is an alien film in which they come to earth to battle with mankind so that they could stay here. Sounds shit in all honesty. I thought the first half of District 9 was really great but he spoiled it in second half by degenerating it into a run of the mill action flick.

Biutiful coming after Babel is kind of inverse of it. In Babel, Inaritu had many characters of various nationalities residing mainly in their own countries and have the stories interconnected somehow between all of them. In Biutiful he has all of the characters in Barcelona itself and story is mainly focussed on Javier Bardem's character, unlike other Inaritu films till date where there is no particular focus. The film is shot vibrantly and Bardem as usual comes up with a strong performance. The film is on the depressing side and some people would think its too bleak for their liking and bit too long. For me it was an almost perfect film and would rank as my favorite Inaritu film along with '21 Grams'.

Its about a group of students investigating a series of mysterious bear killings but eventually finds that much more dangerous things are going on.
Director: Joe Cornish Writer: Joe Cornish Cats: Nick Frost, Jodie Whittaker, Luke Teadaway Attack the Block has released in UK garnering good reviews. Its a comedy sci-fi film in which a teen gang in South London defend their block from an alien invasion. This is writer Joe Cornish's debut film as Director. The film is produced by the group that did 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Paul'.

Restless, new film from Gus Van Sant, will be releasing September this year in US. Its the story of a terminally ill teenage girl who falls for a boy who likes to attend funerals and their encounters with the ghost of a Japanese Kamikaze pilot for world war 2.

Tom Twyker, who had directed 'Run Lola Run', and Wachowski brothers are teaming up to adapt the David Mitchell Novel 'Cloud Atlas' into a film with the same name. Film is in pre-production now.
